Ways To Give

Trail Association for Community Living (TACL) is a registered charitable organization that needs your involvement to continue to build One Community . . . Creating Opportunity for people in our community with significant barriers. We fund-raise to add value and excellence to our programs beyond our funded capacity. There are many ways to support TACL with donations or support. When you make a financial investment in TACL, you contribute to the future of all people with special needs.

You have the opportunity to give in person, Monday to Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm at our downtown Trail, BC location at 1565B Bay Avenue.

You can give by sending a cheque or money order made out to Trail Association for Community Living by mail to:

When a gift has been received in memory of a life past, TACL will send an acknowledgement letter and a charitable tax receipt (CanadaHelps.org will send a tax receipt for donations made online). A personalized card, with a list of all who donated and the total sum of gifts will be sent to the family or next of kin. Please note that amounts of individual donations are completely confidential and will not be disclosed to the family or next of kin.

Make a Bequest through your will - A planned gift can take the form of cash, stocks, bonds, mutual funds or an in-kind gift (needed equipment, supplies, art, books, or real estate).

Life Insurance - You can assign TACL to be the beneficiary on an existing policy or set up a new one.

Donate to United Way and have them decide where the funds are needed and allocate based on applications they receive yearly or designate which program you want your money to go to. You can specify which TACL program you would like the money disbursed to.

Shop and Share is great for those who like to shop on-line. You can help support TACL each time you purchase from one of the retailers and travel sites. Each purchase you make gives an automatic donation for your chosen non-profit. Go to the Shop and Share website, sign up for a free account, choose the Trail Association for Community Living and start shopping.
